About QuantVera
QuantVera provides analytical testing for research peptides in partnership with the American Peptide Association. Its purpose is to establish, lot by lot, what a peptide product contains.

Organisations
QuantVera
Operates sample intake, chain of custody, the testing programs and the certificate of analysis. Reports every result as measured.
American Peptide Association
Reviews and issues APA quality designations. Comprehensive Release is required to apply, and a Performance Study is required for full designation.
BioTools
QuantVera works with BioTools of Jupiter, Florida, manufacturer of chiroptical spectroscopy instruments used to characterise peptide structure. Analysis of this kind supports the structural and conformational screen.

Operating principles
Named methods
Sterility by USP <71>, bacterial endotoxins by USP <85>, elemental impurities by USP <232> and <233>. Every certificate names the method behind every result so the work can be reviewed and repeated.
Consistent reporting
Results are reported as measured. A lot that does not meet a specification receives a certificate that states so in its conclusion.
Origin-independent
Submissions are not asked for country of manufacture. The methods and limits applied to a lot do not depend on where it was made.
Transparent pricing
Every invoice is itemised by test before payment, whatever the program.
